Update

Where has this past month gone?!? I feel like these sweet babies were born just yesterday and can't believe they are 12 weeks old! As busy as it is each day, these three munchkins are the most amazing little people. Reese keeps us laughing daily with her dancing, chatter and silliness. She has started back to school "Summer Camp" and loves it. On the days she is not in school, we are at My Gym or swimming lessons. She is one active little girl and I love all of our outings together. Reese is also becoming a great BIG sister! She has really taken to the babies and loves to help me change their diaper, feed them or attempt to give their paci back. This weekend, we took her and got her, her very own baby to feed when I am feeding the twins and she love it. She is the best little mommy to her.
Ellie and Lexi are growing and doing wonderful! They only get up once a night to eat and personally I think that is amazing! So much different than Reese. I will have more pictures of them this weekend after our photo shoot. We have a fun weekend planned with the CA crew. I CAN NOT WAIT to see those sweet boys!

Mothers Day

I had a wonderful Mothers Day with Paul and my girls! They spoiled me and we had a day relaxing at Bops and Gigi's house. This might not be the best picture but it's the only I have for now of my 3 angels.

Twin 8 Week Check Up

I CAN NOT believe that Ellie and Alexis are already 2 months old, where has this year gone. It feels like they were born yesterday. They went for their check up last week and Dr B gave them a great report. They are catching up developmentally very quickly and should be all caught up at 6 months. That makes me very excited because then we can consider them full term infants rather than preemies. Here are their stats:

Alexis - Ellie -
8.3 lbs (52 percentile) 9.3 lbs (83 percentile)
21.7 in (94 percentile) 21.5 in (91 percentile)

Like their older sister, it looks like they are going to be lean and long. It is funny that they have been consistent in the 1 lb difference. Once this catches up, I think they will really look identical. Both of them are sleeping wonderful! Last night they went from 9:30pm - 3:30am, which I think is fantastic! Reese never slept so Paul and I will take this anyday. All in all, they are amazing little girls and we look forward to watching them grow.

Fun at the Zoo

Yesterday, Paul took the day off and we had a "date" with Reese! (thanks, Gigi for keeping the twins) This was the first time I had been able to join in the Ft Worth Zoo experience with Reese b/c it was too hot last summer and I was TOO pregnant this spring. It was such a joy to watch her reaction to the animals and to make their sounds. We had a blast!

Daddy spent the majority of his day carrying Reese b/c she wanted no part in her stroller
I thought he was so cute for some reason :)

It's a Wonderful... Fun and Exhausting Journey

With THREE kiddos under the age of TWO, it has been a WONDERFUL....
Fun and Exhausting Journey so far.
Paul and I have had many first / challenging experiences in our life, but I do not think that any compare to having a toddler and twins. There are several times in the day where life becomes a little chaotic. For example, feeding time. Once we finish feeding, burping, changing, swaddling, getting settled or rocking it is time to do it all over again! Oh did I mention, that Reese needs to eat too and we have to repeat in 2 hours! I am not sure I could do this without the help of my mom daily, she is my saint! Thanks mom, I am not sure how I'll ever repay you!

Reese is taking more and more to her sisters daily. She loves to get in my lap while I am feeding one and give them hugs. It is amazing what her little mind soaks up! Yesterday, I looked over and she had taken a burp cloth out of the pack n play and was "burping" her baby. It was so sweet. We just have to remind her often that she has to be gentle.

One of our biggest accomplishments this week was packing up and going over to my parents for Easter! I know that for me, it was AMAZING to be out of the house. I did not care where I was, it was just nice to be out! Packing up three kids was interesting for sure, it was hard to remember everything... pacis, lovies, pj's, packed diaper bag, food we prepared, bottles... etc. We had a wonderful Easter relaxing with all the help!

Ellie and Alexis's Nursery

Finally, some pictures of the nursery. Aunt Jessica painted the letters, are they not SO cute?!? I love them and love the way the room turned out.
