1st Birthday Party

We had a party for Reese's FIRST Birthday this weekend and it turned out great! It is still hard to believe that our baby girl is ONE!

Happy 1st Birthday REESE!

Happy Birthday our sweet Reese, we can not believe that you are 1!!!. Time flies. You are the most amazing gift that your daddy and I could have ever received. While the year went by so fast, it was amazing to see what a sweet individual you have become. Reese, you have learned so much this year and taught us so much at the same time.

Here are just some of your accomplishments:

- Rolling over on your own, hold your head up, sit up, pull up, stand up and WALKING!

- You have the most amazing laugh that is just infectious to everyone

- Play Peek - A - BOO

- Traveled to 4 states and 14 flights

- Wave "hello" and say "HI"

- Say Mama, Dada, Dazie, Yum and a few others

- Eat just about anything

- And Give Kisses.... just to name a few.

You have taught your daddy and I more than we could imagine.... Like how to rock you to sleep, hug you when needed, patience and most importantly how to love forever and unconditionally. Reese, you are an amazing little princess and I can not wait to celebrate your birthday again on Saturday!

Berries and Face Painting

Reese has become a very good eater, but the messiest I have ever encountered! She LOVES all kinds of berries as you can see below.... just thought this was a funny one.

Then this past Friday, we went to a birthday party and there was a face painter. Paul and I decided that we would "try" it with Reese and she was excellent. She did not move an inch and got some flowers painted! Enjoy the pics below.... OH and she is WALKING! Video soon to come....

Growing Up Fast

This week, Reese and I are having a week of mommy and me time and I love it! (Paul is traveling and Bops and Gigi have gone out to see the California crew.) So, it's just us girls! We have had playdates, swimming tomorrow and a birthday party on Friday. It has been wonderful to spend this time with just Reese.... She amazes me more and more each day. Today, she walked about 8 steps and is getting more comfortable and steady on her feet. Reese has started talking up and storm and loves to "high" five. We are working on clapping and waving. I just look at her daily and can not believe that she will be ONE next week. Time flies... Enjoy a pic from tonight's bath time.

Inks Lake

This week Reese and I took a road trip to a "Mommy and Kiddos" lake trip. Reese was not too happy about the car ride, but after watching Madagascar 3 times and a stop at good ole' DQ we arrived at Inks Lake. We went to stay with Lane, Milam and Samuel plus 5 other girlfriends and their kiddos. This was really a KIDS paradise with slip and slides, swimming pool, hammock, stairs and a huge lawn to play in. We had a wonderful and thank you Lane for having us! Enjoy the pics below.....

Welcome TANNER LAWRENCE FOLK

Today Matthew, Lindsay and Quinn welcomes Tanner Lawrence! He was born at 1:09pm and weighed 7lbs and 7oz and was 21.5 inches long. He really resembles Quinn as a new born. As you can see he is perfect! Quinn was SO excited to see his little brother today and what a great big brother he will be! We can not wait to meet our new sweet addition!!!
