Playdate with Samuel and Lane

Today Reese and I met Lane and Samuel at Northpark for a patio lunch and some shopping. The babies have met several times but today was their first time to get down and play together. It was so funny because we put the babies down on the grass to get some pictures and Reese would not let go of Samuel and holding her feet in the air... I came to the conclusion that she does not like the feel of grass. So funny! (Guess I have a Miss Priss on my hands.) It was a fun afternoon and look forward to our next outing with sweet Samuel!

Swimming, Swinging and Mac & Cheese

We spent the day outside today with the beautiful weather! Reese, Daddy and Dazie took their first dip in the pool together, which Reese loved by the end. However, she DID NOT like when Paul and Dazie jumped in the pool together... She started screaming every time. It was sad and cute at the same time. Then Paul hung her new swing on the patio which she loves!!! After swimming and swinging Reese got her first serving of Mac and Cheese. She was not sure what to think at first, but got the hang of it quickly. Enjoy some new pictures of our angel!

Not sure about this pool thing...
Warming up too it after some convincing

Loving IT!

This picture makes me laugh b/c of Dazie

All cleaned up and ready for bed!

Reese is 9 Months!!!

Our sweet baby GIRL turned 9 months last Tuesday! I can not believe that 9 months has gone by and I can not imagine not having this sweet soul in my life! Reese is such a blessing to her daddy and I. She puts smiles on our faces daily and continues to make us laugh all the time. Paul and I took her in for her check up last Tuesday and she did wonderful!

Here are a few stats:
Weight: 19 lbs. 4oz. (66% percentile)
Height: 28.5 in. (85% percentile)

Reese is beginning to venture into "real" foods and is not sure what to think... She loves cheese, rice, baby puffs and yogurt, but also has still drinks 25 -30 oz of formula a day. Her sleeping has improved greatly, she sleep 10 - 11 hours at night and then take 2 naps a day. She has begun to HATE her diaper changes and will try and climb off the table so that has become a 2 man job. :) Her two bottom teeth have come in and we are waiting for the top ones too come anytime. Everything goes into her mouth and she is constantly chewing on something. Reese does not like to be in the room alone. It is so cute b/c if I leave her soon after I will hear her saying "mama mama mama" and crawling for me then when she gets to me she crawls up my leg. A few weeks ago, Paul and I got out her "car" and she LOVES to go on walks in it. Her favorite place to be in outside! I could talk forever about her b/s she is just precious!

Fun Day at the Horse Races

This past weekend we went to Nashville for a quick trip to visit Paul's family. As usual the trip went by too fast and was very action packed. Saturday we left Reese with Paul's family for a fun day at Steeplechase. Steeplechase is a charity horse racing event that is put on every year to support Vanderbelt's Children's Hospital. It was super fun as you can see from the pics below.
We had a fabulous visit with everyone and miss you all already!!

Standing, Swinging, Swimming and Sliding

Reese is almost 9 Months and BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!! Below are some pics of her standing which has become her favorite thing too do. She is pulling up on EVERYTHING, including me!
Today we had a big day... We went to the Baseball complex opening which is not only an amazing complex, but has an amazing playground for children. Macie loved playing with Reese on the playground taking her down the slide and pushing her in the swing. Then we were off to swimming lessons... Paul and I were not sure how the lesson would go, it was a huge success! Reese loved the water. Enjoy the pictures...
